Saying, If we had lived in the days of our forefathers, we would not have aided them in shedding the blood of the prophets.

and say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we should not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.

You say, ‘If we had lived in our ancestors’ days, we wouldn’t have joined them in killing the prophets.’

And then you say, 'If we had been there in the days of our fathers, we would not have joined with them in the blood of the prophets.'

And say: If we had been in the days of our Fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.

¶ Woe be unto you scribes and pharises hypocrites, for ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchers of just men,

So are ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them, which killed the prophets.

Behold Israhell which walketh carnally. Are not they which eat of the sacrifice, partakers of the altar?

yet our hope is steadfast for you inasmuch as we know how that as ye have your part in afflictions, so shall ye be part takers of consolation.
