And as he sowed, some fell by the ways side, and the fowls came, and devoured it up.


And there was a certain beggar, named Lazarus, which lay at his gate full of sores


And it fortuned that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: The rich man also died, and was buried in hell.


¶ It came to pass, as they were come nye unto Iericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging.


¶ And he entered in, and went thorow Iericho.


The neighbours, and they that had seen him before how that he was a beggar said: Is not this he that sat and begged?
