¶ And when the ten heard this, they disdained at the two brethren.


But Iesus called them unto him, and said to them: Ye know well that they which seem to bear rule among the gentiles, reign as lords over them. And they that be great among them exercise authority over them.


¶ And there was a strife among them, which of them should seem greatest.


And he said unto them: The kings of the gentiles reign over them, And they that bear rule over them, are called gracious lords.


Be kind one to another, with brotherly love. In giving honour go one before another.


that nothing be done thorow strife or vain glory, but in meekness of mind. Let every person think every other man better than himself,


Do ye suppose that the scripture saith in vain: The spirit that dwelleth in you, lusteth even contrary to envy:
