¶ I baptise you in water, in token of repentance, but he that cometh after me, is mightier than I: whose shoes I am not worthy to bear. He shall baptise you with the holy ghost, and with fire,
And he went with him, and much people followed him, and thronged him.
¶ When Simon Peter saw that, he fell down at Iesus' knees saying: Lord go from me, for I am a sinful man.
And they came to Iesus and besought him instantly, saying: He is worthy that thou shouldest do this for him.
Wherefore I thought not myself worthy to come unto thee: but say the word and my servant shall be whole.
¶ While he yet spake, there came one from the rulers of the synagogi's house, which said to him: Thy daughter is dead, disease not the master.
After that God had anointed Iesus of Nazareth with the holy ghost, and with power, he went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed with devils, for God was with him.
