¶ Then answered Peter, and said to him: Behold we have forsaken all, and have followed thee: what shall we have therefore?


¶ And as Iesus passed forth from thence he saw a man sit at the receit of custom named Matthew, and said to him: follow me. And he arose and followed him.


¶ And Peter began to say unto him: Lo, we have forsaken all, and have followed thee.


And they brought the ships to land, and forsook all, and followed him.


Then said he to the disciple: behold thy mother. And from that hour the disciple took her for his own.


¶ But the things that were winning unto me I counted loss for Christe's sake.
