For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father, with his angels; and then shall he render to every man according to his work.


Verily I say to you, there are some standing here, who shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.


Being persuaded of this very thing, that he who hath begun a good work in you, will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ,


Looking for the blessed hope and the glorious appearing of the great God, even our Saviour Jesus Christ.


But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, the elements shall melt with fervent heat, and the earth, and the works that are therein, shall be burnt up.


Seeing then all these things are dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,


walking after their own desires, Saying, Where is the promise of his coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.


But the heavens and the earth that are now, are by his word kept in store reserved unto fire, against the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.


Keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
