But when they persecute you in this city, flee to another; for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.


And Jesus coming into the coasts of Cesarea Philippi, asked his disciples saying, Whom do men say that I am?


And as he sat on the mount of Olives, his disciples came to him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?


Verily I say to you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.


Watch therefore; for ye know not what hour your Lord cometh.


Jesus saith to him, Thou hast said. Moreover I say to you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right-hand of power, and coming upon the clouds of heaven.


And Jesus saith to him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.


And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds, with power and great glory.


For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father, with the holy angels.


And he said to them, Verily I say unto you, there are some of them that stand here, who shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God coming with power.


I tell you he will vindicate them speedily. Yet when the Son of man cometh, will he find faith upon earth?


And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ.


And I tell you of a truth there are some standing here, who shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God.


Jesus saith to him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is it to thee?


Verily, verily I say unto you, if a man keep my word, he shall never see death.


Then said the Jews to him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead and the prophets; yet thou sayest, If a man keep my word, he shall never taste of death.


behold two men, in white apparel, stood by them, Who also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing into heaven? This Jesus who is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come, as ye have seen him going into heaven.


But every one in his own order: Christ the first-fruit, afterward they who are Christ's, at his coming.


to serve the living and true God, And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he hath raised from the dead, even Jesus, who delivereth us from the wrath to come.


But we see Jesus crowned with glory and honour, for the suffering of death, who was made a little lower than the angels, that by the grace of God he might taste death for every man.


Be patient, therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath patience for it, till he receive the early and the latter rain.


For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eye-witnesses of his majesty.


And now, beloved children, abide in him, that when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
