Do not join those drinking too much wine or gorging on meat,


Together they were righteous before Adonai, walking without fault in all His commandments and instructions.


“Now there was a rich man dressed in purple and fine linen, living it up in luxury every day.


“But watch out so your hearts are not weighed down by carousing, strong drink, and the worries of life. Do not let that day come upon you suddenly like a trap.


These men are not drunk, as you suppose—for it’s only the third hour of the day!


for you are still worldly. For since there is jealousy and strife among you, aren’t you worldly and walking in a human way?


Now the deeds of the flesh are clear: sexual immorality, impurity, indecency,


envy, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these. I am warning you, just as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit God’s kingdom.


Therefore I, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you were called—


So I tell you this, indeed I insist on it in the Lord—walk no longer as the pagans do, stumbling around in the futility of their thinking.


So pay close attention to how you walk—not as unwise people but as wise.


And do not get drunk on wine, for that is recklessness. Instead, be filled with the Ruach,


For once you were darkness, but now in union with the Lord you are light. Walk as children of light


Only live your lives in a manner worthy of the Good News of the Messiah. Then, whether I come and see you or I am absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit—striving side by side with one mind for the faith of the Good News


Do nothing out of selfishness or conceit, but with humility consider others as more important than yourselves,


to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God.


Therefore, put to death what is earthly in you—sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desire, and greed—for that is idolatry.


we exhorted and encouraged and urged each one of you to walk in a manner worthy of God, who calls you into His own kingdom and glory.


so you may behave properly toward outsiders and not have need of anything.


Or do you think that in vain the Scripture says, “He yearns jealously over the spirit which He made to dwell in us”?


whoever claims to abide in Him must walk just as He walked.


I was overjoyed to find some of your children walking in truth, just as we received as a commandment from the Father.


save them by snatching them out of the fire; but on others have mercy with fear—hating even the garment defiled by the flesh.
