No man can redeem his brother, or give to God a ransom for him.

The price to save someone’s life is too high— wealth will never be enough—
I will not reprove you for your sacrifices. Moreover, your holocausts are ever in my sight.
I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices: and thy burnt offerings are always in my sight.
or ‘Save me from the enemy’s hand’ or ‘Redeem me from a ruthless hand’?
What man can live and not see death? Can he deliver himself from the clutches of Sheol? Selah
For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world but forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?
