Come on now! Let’s kill him and throw him into one of those pits, so we can say that an evil animal devoured him. Then let’s see what becomes of his dreams.”


Happy is the one who has not walked in the advice of the wicked, nor stood in the way of sinners, nor sat in the seat of scoffers.


When you see a thief, you are pleased with him, and your portion is with adulterers.


He who walks with wise men is wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm.


A violent person lures his neighbor, leading him down a path that is no good.


A talebearer goes about, revealing secrets, so do not associate with a babbler.

Take no part in the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them—
