For your salvation I wait, Adonai!


In return for my love they are my accusers, but I am in prayer.


I wait for Adonai, my soul waits, and in His word I hope.


Guide me in Your truth, and teach me, for You are God, my salvation, for You I wait all day.


Be still before Adonai and wait patiently for Him. Do not fret over one prospering in his way, over one carrying out wicked schemes.


Yes, I am like one who cannot hear, whose mouth has no arguments.


Call upon Me in the day of trouble. When I rescue you, you will honor Me.”


Praise is awaiting You in Zion, O God, and to You the vow will be fulfilled.


Restore us, O God of our salvation, and renounce Your indignation with us.
