But Yeshua, knowing this, said to them, “Why do you cause trouble for this woman? She’s done Me a mitzvah.
He said, “Go into the city to a certain man, and tell him, ‘The Teacher says, “My time is near; at your house I am to keep the Passover with My disciples.”’”
Just as He was saying these things to them, a synagogue leader came and began to bow before Him, saying, “My daughter has just died, but come lay Your hand on her and she will live.”
As Yeshua was setting out on His way, a man ran up to Him, fell on his knees before Him, and asked, “Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?”
Then one of the synagogue leaders, named Jairus, comes. Seeing Him, he falls at His feet.
While He was still speaking, someone comes from the house of the synagogue leader, saying, “Your daughter has died. Don’t bother the Teacher anymore.”
Martha said to Yeshua, “Master, if You had been here, my brother wouldn’t have died!
Yeshua said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life! Whoever believes in Me, even if he dies, shall live.
After she said this, she left and secretly told her sister Miriam, “The Teacher is here, and He’s calling for you.”
So when Miriam came to where Yeshua was, she saw Him and fell at His feet, saying to Him, “Master, if You had been here, my brother would not have died!”
Yeshua says, “Roll away the stone!” Martha, the dead man’s sister, said to Him, “Master, by this time he stinks! He’s been dead for four days!”
Amen, amen I tell you, an hour is coming and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of Ben-Elohim. Those who hear will live!
