To Torah and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because they have no light.


“Why do you call Me good?” Yeshua said to him. “No one is good except One—that is God.


You know the commandments: ‘Do not commit adultery, do not murder, do not steal, do not give false testimony, honor your father and mother.’”


For the commandments—“You shall not commit adultery, you shall not murder, you shall not steal, you shall not covet,” and any other commandment—are summed up in this word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”


For no human, on the basis of Torah observance, will be set right in His sight—for through the Torah comes awareness of sin.


Tell me, you who want to be under Torah, don’t you understand the Torah?


For the whole Torah can be summed up in a single saying: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”


and not to overstep his brother and take advantage of him in this matter— because the Lord is the avenger in all these things, as we told you before and solemnly warned you.


For the one who said, “Do not commit adultery,” also said, “Do not commit murder.” Now if you do not commit adultery but do commit murder, you have become a transgressor of the Torah.
