Dishonest scales are an abomination to Adonai, but an accurate weight is His delight.


Honest balances and scales are Adonai’s. All the weights in a bag are His handiwork.


Unequal weights and measures— both are an abomination to Adonai.


“You are to have just balances, an honest dry measure and an honest liquid measure.


“You are to do no injustice in judgment. You are not to be partial toward the poor nor show favoritism toward the great, but you are to judge your neighbor with fairness.


Hear what Adonai is saying: “Arise! Contend with the mountains, and let the hills hear your voice.


For with the judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.


“You are not to have stones of different weights in your bag—large and small.


You must have a full and honest weight and a full and honest measure, so that your days may be long on the land that Adonai your God is giving you.
