“How you have helped the powerless! How you have saved the arm without strength!


How you have counseled the one without wisdom and revealed your abundant insights!


Is my strength the strength of rock? Is my flesh bronze?


For our reason for boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience, that we behaved in the world, and most especially toward you, with simplicity and godly sincerity—not by human wisdom but by the grace of God.


Rather let each one examine his own work. Then he will have pride in himself alone and not in comparison to anyone else.
