You see that faith worked together with his works, and by the works his faith was made complete.


You see that a man is proved righteous by works and not by faith alone.


Then Joshua son of Nun secretly sent out two spies from Shittim saying: “Go, explore the land, especially Jericho.” So they went and came to the house of a prostitute whose name was Rahab, and lodged there.

But the woman took the two men and hid them, and said: “Yes, the men did come to me, but I didn’t know where they were from.


But she had brought them up to the roof and hidden them in the stalks of flax that she had spread out on the roof.


But the city will be under the ban of destruction—it and all that is in it belong to Adonai. Only Rahab the harlot will live, she and all who are with her in the house, because she hid the scouts that we sent.
