And to my surprise, out of the Nile seven cows were coming up, beefy and good-looking, and they grazed in the reeds.
Then behold, there were seven other cows coming up after them from the Nile, ugly and emaciated, and they stood beside the cows at the edge of the Nile.
“Can papyrus grow tall without a marsh? Can reeds flourish without water?
Then the channels will stink. The streams of Egypt will dwindle and dry up. Reeds and rushes will rot.
The bulrushes by the Nile, by the mouth of the Nile, and everything sown by the Nile will wither, blow away and be no more.
