Then Jacob saw Laban’s face, and he noticed that his expression wasn’t the same as it was just a day or two before.


He said to them, “I can see by your father’s face that his expression isn’t the same as it was just a day or two ago. But the God of my father has been with me.


Now when his master heard the words his wife spoke to him saying, “Such are the things your slave did to me,” his anger burned.

By faith Abel offered God a better sacrifice than Cain. Through faith he was commended as righteous when God approved of his gifts. And through faith he still speaks, although he is dead.
