Laban also gave her Zilpah his female servant to his daughter Leah as a female servant.


So Jacob did; he also completed this one’s bridal week. Then he gave him his daughter Rachel to be his wife.


Jacob also went to Rachel and indeed loved Rachel more than Leah. So he served with him for yet another seven years.


While Israel was living in that land, Reuben went and slept with his father’s concubine Bilhah, and Israel heard about it. Now Jacob had twelve sons.


The sons of Bilhah, Rachel’s female servant, were Dan and Naphtali,


These are the genealogies of Jacob. When Joseph was 17 years old (he was a youth), he was shepherding the flocks with his brothers—with the sons of his father’s wives Bilhah and Zilpah. Joseph brought back a bad report about them to their father.


These are the sons of Bilhah whom Laban gave to Rachel his daughter and she bore these to Jacob. The tally of all the people was seven.
