So God saw everything that He made, and behold it was very good. So there was evening and there was morning—the sixth day.


So the man gave names to all of the livestock, and to the flying creatures of the sky, and to all the animals of the field; but for the man He did not find a well-matched helper for him.


Then the man said, “The woman whom You gave to be with me—she gave me of the Tree, and I ate.”


Whoever finds a wife finds good, and receives favor from Adonai.


But if any man thinks that he is behaving inappropriately toward his virgin, if the time is ripe and it is meant to be, let him do what he decides. He does not sin. Let them marry.


In the same way, husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way. Though they are weaker partners, honor them as equal heirs of the grace of life. In this way, your prayers will not be hindered.
