I prayed, “O my God, I am ashamed and humiliated to lift up my face to You, my God! For our iniquities are higher than our heads and our guilt has reached to the heavens.

how much more those who dwell in houses of clay, whose foundation is in the dust, who are crushed before the moth?


Adonai, what is man, that You take note of him? Or the son of man, that You consider him?


When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You established—
