They must not dwell in your land and cause you to sin against Me, for if you worship their gods, they will be a snare to you.”
Watch yourself, and make no covenant with the inhabitants of the land where you are going, or they will become a snare among you.
Do not take their daughters for your sons, for their daughters will prostitute themselves with their own gods, and cause your sons to prostitute themselves with their gods.
Therefore, come out from among them, and be separate, says Adonai. Touch no unclean thing. Then I will take you in.

When you enter the land Adonai your God is giving you, you are not to learn to do the abominations of those nations.
