Then he said, “Your sound—I heard it in the garden and I was afraid. Because I am naked, I hid myself.”
Enter into the rock and hide in the dust, for fear of Adonai, and the glory of His majesty.
Can anyone hide himself in places so secret that I will not see him? Do I not fill heaven and earth?” It is a declaration of Adonai.
“Son of man, eat your bread with quaking and drink your water with trembling and anxiety.
“Now those who were with me saw the light, but did not understand the voice of the One who was speaking to me.
The men travelling with him stood speechless, hearing the voice but seeing no one.
So terrifying was the sight that Moses said, “I am quaking with fear.”
