Then Jeremiah said to Seraiah: “When you arrive in Babylon, then see that you read all these words,


I want you to know how great a struggle I have for you and for those in Laodicea, as well as for those who have still not seen me face to face.


For I testify that he has gone to much trouble for you and for those in Laodicea and Hierapolis.


Greet the brothers and sisters in Laodicea, as well as Nympha and the community that meets in her house.


I charge you under oath, by the Lord, that this letter be read to all the brothers and sisters.


If anyone does not obey our message in this letter, take special note of him and do not associate with him, so that he may be put to shame.
