In the beginning was the Word. The Word was with God, and the Word was God.

For those whom He foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, so that He might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.
But I want you to know that the head of every man is Messiah, and the head of the woman is the man, and the head of Messiah is God.
The plan of the fullness of times is to bring all things together in the Messiah—both things in heaven and things on earth, all in Him.
For the husband is head of the wife, as Messiah also is head of His community—Himself the Savior of the body.
Now I rejoice in my sufferings for you, and in my physical body—for the sake of His body, Messiah’s community—I fill up what is lacking in the afflictions of Messiah.
He is not holding fast to the Head. It is from Him that the whole body, nourished and held together by its joints and tendons, grows with a godly increase.
