When one’s ways are pleasing to Adonai, he makes even his enemies be at peace with him.


Confessing their sins, they were being immersed by him in the Jordan River.


Then Yeshua said to him, “Today salvation has come to this home, because he also is a son of Abraham.


When she was immersed, along with her household, she urged us, saying, “If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come and stay at my house.” And she insisted.


After inflicting many blows on them, they threw them into prison, ordering the jailer to guard them securely.


But about midnight, Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.


Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him, along with everyone in his household.


(I also immersed the household of Stephanas; besides them, I don’t recall if I immersed anyone else.)


Brothers and sisters, you were called to freedom—only do not let your freedom become an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.


For in Messiah Yeshua, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any meaning—but only trust and faithfulness expressing itself through love.


Corresponding to that, immersion now brings you to safety—not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but a pledge to God of a good conscience—through the resurrection of Messiah Yeshua.
