As for my son Solomon, give him a whole heart to keep Your mitzvot, Your decrees and Your statutes, and to fulfill them all and to build the Temple for which I have made provision.”
You must observe all My statutes and all My ordinances—do them. I am Adonai.”
when all Israel comes to appear before Adonai your God in the place He chooses, you are to read this Torah before them in their hearing.
Moses wrote down this Torah and gave it to the kohanim, the sons of Levi who carry the Ark of the Covenant of Adonai, and to all the elders of Israel.
Now then, why should we die? For this great fire will consume us! If we hear the voice of Adonai our God any more, then we will die.
Then I said to you, “I am Adonai your God. You are not to fear the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are dwelling. But you have not obeyed My voice.’”
