Behold, while you are still there talking with the king, I will come in after you and confirm your words.”


Then seat two sons of Belial before him, and let them testify against him saying, ‘You cursed God and the king.’ Then take him out and stone him to death.”


Then the two worthless men came in and sat before him, and the worthless men testified against him, against Naboth, before the people saying, “Naboth cursed God and the king!” Then they carried him out of the city and stoned him to death.


Everyone killing anyone shall be put to death as a murderer only on the testimony of more than one witness. No one is to be put to death on the testimony of only one witness.


But if he does not listen, take with you one or two more, so that ‘by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may stand.’


Look, I am ready to come to you this third time, and I will not burden you—for I seek not your possessions, but you! For the children are not obliged to save up for the parents, but the parents for the children.


By the word of two or three witnesses, the one who is to die is to be put to death. No one is to be put to death by the word of one witness.


A single witness shall not rise up against a person for any offense or sin that he commits. By the word of two or three witnesses is a case to be established.
