All the people went up after him, while the people were playing on flutes and rejoicing with great joy, so that the ground shook at their noise.


Also the king has sent with him Zadok the kohen, Nathan the prophet, Benaiah son of Jehoiada, the Cherethites and the Pelethites, and they had him ride on the king’s mule.
