When the even was come, there came a rich man of Arimathæa, named Joseph, who also himself was Jesus' disciple:

When it was evening, there came a rich man from Arimathea, named Joseph, who also was a disciple of Jesus.

That evening a man named Joseph came. He was a rich man from Arimathea who had become a disciple of Jesus.

He went to Pilate and asked for Jesus' body. So Pilate commanded that the body be given to him.

When John's disciples heard about it, they came and took his body and laid it in a tomb.
