Again he sent other servants, more than the first. But the farmers treated them in the same way.


But when the farmers saw the son, they said among themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let us kill him and take possession of his inheritance.’


And behold, a voice from heaven said, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”


Now he still had his one beloved son. He sent him to them as well, last of all, saying, ‘They will have respect for my son.’


So the owner of the vineyard said, ‘What should I do? I will send my beloved son; perhaps when they see him they will have respect for him.’


No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is at the Father's side, has made him known.


And I have seen and testified that this is the Son of God.”


“For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
