I tell you that whoever divorces his wife, except for fornication, and marries another, commits adultery. And whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.”
Now to the unmarried and the widows I say: It is good for them if they remain even as I am.
They forbid marriage and demand abstinence from foods that God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.
