He said to them, “What man among you who has a sheep that falls into a pit on the Sabbath will not take hold of it and lift it out?


And if he happens to find it, truly I say to you, he rejoices more over it than over the ninety-nine that have not gone astray.


“But what do you think? A man had two sons. He went to his first son and said, ‘Son, go work today in my vineyard.’


“What do you think about the Christ? Whose son is he?” They said to him, “David's.”


I am speaking as I would to sensible people; judge for yourselves what I am saying.


For you were like sheep going astray, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.
