But thanks be to God that, though you were slaves of sin, you have become obedient from the heart to the pattern of teaching to which you were entrusted,


For a married woman is bound by the law to her husband as long as he is alive, but if her husband dies, she is released from the law concerning her husband.


But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.


Your women should be silent in the churches, for they have not been permitted to speak, but must be in submission, just as the law says.


For how do yoʋ know, O wife, whether yoʋ will save yoʋr husband? Or how do yoʋ know, O husband, whether yoʋ will save yoʋr wife?

Husbands, in the same way, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman as the weaker partner, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered.


For it is time for judgment to begin with the household of God, and if it begins first with us, what will be the outcome for those who are disobedient to the gospel of God?
