Go and speak unto David, Thus saith the LORD, I offer thee three things; choose thee one of them, that I may do it unto thee.


And Ezra opened the book in the sight of all the people; (for he was above all the people;) and when he opened it, all the people stood up:


Give unto the LORD, O ye sons of the mighty, Give unto the LORD glory and strength.


Who would not fear thee, O King of the nations? for to thee doth it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their royal estate, there is none like unto thee.


Now the king sat in the winter house in the ninth month: and there was a fire in the brasier burning before him.


And I will smite the winter house with the summer house; and the houses of ivory shall perish, and the great houses shall have an end, saith the LORD.


The voice of the LORD crieth unto the city, and the man of wisdom will see thy name: hear ye the rod, and who hath appointed it.
