Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I watch over my word to perform it.


even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.


And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.


And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?


Simon answered and said, He, I suppose, to whom he forgave the most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged.


And it was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.


And when she had said this, she went away, and called Mary her sister secretly, saying, The Master is here, and calleth thee.


The sisters therefore sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick.


Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking in the Spirit of God saith, Jesus is anathema; and no man can say, Jesus is Lord, but in the Holy Spirit.


yet to us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we unto him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and we through him.


And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, and forbear threatening: knowing that both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no respect of persons with him.


and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.


Yea verily, and I count all things to be loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may gain Christ,


Thou believest that God is one; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and shudder.
