For thus saith the Lord GOD When I shall make thee a desolate city, like the cities that are not inhabited; when I shall bring up the deep upon thee, and the great waters shall cover thee;
And he caused me to pass by them round about: and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and lo, they were very dry.
For as the Father raiseth the dead and quickeneth them, even so the Son also quickeneth whom he will.
(as it is written, A father of many nations have I made thee) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth the things that are not, as though they were.
But some one will say, How are the dead raised? and with what manner of body do they come?
Oh that they were wise, that they understood this, That they would consider their latter end!
See now that I, even I, am he, And there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I have wounded, and I heal: And there is none that can deliver out of my hand.

The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up.
