He stretches out the north over the void, and hangs the earth upon nothing.


The heavens are the Lord's heavens, but the earth he has given to the sons of men.


It is like the dew of Hermon, which falls on the mountains of Zion! For there the Lord has commanded the blessing, life for evermore.


The earth is the Lord's and the fulness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein;


for he has founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the rivers.


Let the floods clap their hands; let the hills sing for joy together


Sing for joy, O heavens, and exult, O earth; break forth, O mountains, into singing! For the Lord has comforted his people, and will have compassion on his afflicted.


“As I live, says the King, whose name is the Lord of hosts, like Tabor among the mountains, and like Carmel by the sea, shall one come.
