Psalm 85:6

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou dost preserve my life; thou dost stretch out thy hand against the wrath of my enemies, and thy right hand delivers me.


Let Israel be glad in his Maker, let the sons of Zion rejoice in their King!


O that deliverance for Israel would come from Zion! When God restores the fortunes of his people, Jacob will rejoice and Israel be glad.


Thou who hast made me see many sore troubles wilt revive me again; from the depths of the earth thou wilt bring me up again.


O God, why dost thou cast us off for ever? Why does thy anger smoke against the sheep of thy pasture?


Has his steadfast love for ever ceased? Are his promises at an end for all time?


Then we will never turn back from thee; give us life, and we will call on thy name!


Satisfy us in the morning with thy steadfast love, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.


For thus says the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, and also with him who is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite.


will he be angry for ever, will he be indignant to the end?’ Behold, you have spoken, but you have done all the evil that you could.”


the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voices of those who sing, as they bring thank offerings to the house of the Lord: ‘Give thanks to the Lord of hosts, for the Lord is good, for his steadfast love endures for ever!’ For I will restore the fortunes of the land as at first, says the Lord.


After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will raise us up, that we may live before him.


O Lord, I have heard the report of thee, and thy work, O Lord, do I fear. In the midst of the years renew it; in the midst of the years make it known; in wrath remember mercy.
