he will not be rich, and his wealth will not endure, nor will he strike root in the earth;


who does not put out his money at interest, and does not take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be moved.


When the tempest passes, the wicked is no more, but the righteous is established for ever.


The righteousness of the blameless keeps his way straight, but the wicked falls by his own wickedness.


The strong tower of the wicked comes to ruin, but the root of the righteous stands firm.


No man has power to retain the spirit, or authority over the day of death; there is no discharge from war, nor will wickedness deliver those who are given to it.


and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,


rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.
