This God—his way is perfect; the promise of the Lord proves true; he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him.
Mark the blameless man, and behold the upright, for there is posterity for the man of peace.
For I am the Lord your God; consecrate yourselves therefore, and be holy, for I am holy. You shall not defile yourselves with any swarming thing that crawls upon the earth.
“Say to all the congregation of the people of Israel, You shall be holy; for I the Lord your God am holy.
You shall be holy to me; for I the Lord am holy, and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be mine.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

Finally, brethren, farewell. Mend your ways, heed my appeal, agree with one another, live in peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you.
For we are glad when we are weak and you are strong. What we pray for is your improvement.
Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit, and make holiness perfect in the fear of God.
