I have not departed from the commandment of his lips; I have treasured in my bosom the words of his mouth.


How sweet are thy words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!


The friendship of the Lord is for those who fear him, and he makes known to them his covenant.


My soul is feasted as with marrow and fat, and my mouth praises thee with joyful lips,


The heart knows its own bitterness, and no stranger shares its joy.


From the fruit of his mouth a man is satisfied; he is satisfied by the yield of his lips.


he shall see the fruit of the travail of his soul and be satisfied; by his knowledge shall the righteous one, my servant, make many to be accounted righteous; and he shall bear their iniquities.


Thy words were found, and I ate them, and thy words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart; for I am called by thy name, O Lord, God of hosts.

Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of him who sent me, and to accomplish his work.


In all things I have shown you that by so toiling one must help the weak, remembering the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ”


He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who conquers I will give some of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, with a new name written on the stone which no one knows except him who receives it.’
