Thus says the Lord, ‘Behold, I will raise up evil against you out of your own house; and I will take your wives before your eyes, and give them to your neighbor, and he shall lie with your wives in the sight of this sun.


For you did it secretly; but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun.’ ”


then let my shoulder blade fall from my shoulder, and let my arm be broken from its socket.


and all the first-born in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first-born of Pharaoh who sits upon his throne, even to the first-born of the maidservant who is behind the mill; and all the first-born of the cattle.


Take the millstones and grind meal, put off your veil, strip off your robe, uncover your legs, pass through the rivers.


Therefore I will give their wives to others and their fields to conquerors, because from the least to the greatest every one is greedy for unjust gain; from prophet to priest every one deals falsely.


Two women will be grinding at the mill; one is taken and one is left.


You shall betroth a wife, and another man shall lie with her; you shall build a house, and you shall not dwell in it; you shall plant a vineyard, and you shall not use the fruit of it.
