“Mark this, then, you who forget God, lest I rend, and there be none to deliver!
But thou, terrible art thou! Who can stand before thee when once thy anger is roused?
Who considers the power of thy anger, and thy wrath according to the fear of thee?
In that day the Egyptians will be like women, and tremble with fear before the hand which the Lord of hosts shakes over them.
The sinners in Zion are afraid; trembling has seized the godless: “Who among us can dwell with the devouring fire? Who among us can dwell with everlasting burnings?”
And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
