He spoke to them in the pillar of cloud; they kept his testimonies, and the statutes that he gave them.


And as Aaron spoke to the whole congregation of the people of Israel, they looked toward the wilderness, and behold, the glory of the Lord appeared in the cloud.


and be ready by the third day; for on the third day the Lord will come down upon Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people.


And the Lord said to Moses. “Lo, I am coming to you in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with you, and may also believe you for ever.” Then Moses told the words of the people to the Lord.


but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God; in it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your manservant, or your maidservant, or your cattle, or the sojourner who is within your gates;


Now the appearance of the glory of the Lord was like a devouring fire on the top of the mountain in the sight of the people of Israel.


Then the Lord will create over the whole site of Mount Zion and over her assemblies a cloud by day, and smoke and the shining of a flaming fire by night; for over all the glory there will be a canopy and a pavilion.


Like the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud on the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. Such was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard the voice of one speaking.


And Moses and Aaron went into the tent of meeting; and when they came out they blessed the people, and the glory of the Lord appeared to all the people.


And Moses said, “This is the thing which the Lord commanded you to do; and the glory of the Lord will appear to you.”


But all the congregation said to stone them with stones. Then the glory of the Lord appeared at the tent of meeting to all the people of Israel.


And when the congregation had assembled against Moses and against Aaron, they turned toward the tent of meeting; and behold, the cloud covered it, and the glory of the Lord appeared.


For it is the God who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.
