“The Lord our God said to us in Horeb, ‘You have stayed long enough at this mountain;


And Moses wrote this law, and gave it to the priests the sons of Levi, who carried the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and to all the elders of Israel.


he said to them, “Lay to heart all the words which I enjoin upon you this day, that you may command them to your children, that they may be careful to do all the words of this law.


This is the law which Moses set before the children of Israel;
