Otherwise, if you bless with the spirit, how can any one in the position of an outsider say the “Amen” to your thanksgiving when he does not know what you are saying?
Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you?
Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, which you have from God? You are not your own;
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that by his poverty you might become rich.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
in whom you also are built into it for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any incentive of love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy,
that which we have seen and heard we proclaim also to you, so that you may have fellowship with us; and our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.
By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
All who keep his commandments abide in him, and he in them. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit which he has given us.
keep yourselves in the love of God; wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
