And Elijah took the child, and brought him down from the upper chamber into the house, and delivered him to his mother; and Elijah said, “See, your son lives.”
And as a man was being buried, lo, a marauding band was seen and the man was cast into the grave of Elisha; and as soon as the man touched the bones of Elisha, he revived, and stood on his feet.
And he came and touched the bier, and the bearers stood still. And he said, “Young man, I say to you, arise.”
When he had said this, he cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out.”
For to this end Christ died and lived again, that he might be Lord both of the dead and of the living.

Women received their dead by resurrection. Some were tortured, refusing to accept release, that they might rise again to a better life.
But after the three and a half days a breath of life from God entered them, and they stood up on their feet, and great fear fell on those who saw them.
The Lord kills and brings to life; he brings down to Sheol and raises up.
