That of the mournful prisoner the groanings he might hear, To set them free that unto death by men appointed are:


That they in Sion may declare the Lord's most holy name, And publish in Jerusalem the praises of the same;


For poor oppress'd, and for the sighs of needy, rise will I, Saith God, and him in safety set from such as him defy.


For God the poor hears, and will not his prisoners contemn.
