Strength unto God do ye ascribe; for his excellency Is over Israel, his strength is in the clouds most high.

Ascribe ye strength unto God: His excellency is over Israel, And his strength is in the clouds.

Ascribe power and strength to God; His majesty is over Israel, and His strength and might are in the skies.

Recognize how strong God is! His majesty extends over Israel; his strength is in the clouds.

For the Lord has heard the poor, and he has not despised his prisoners.

For the Lord hath heard the poor: and hath not despised his prisoners.

Praise ye the Lord. God's praise within his sanctuary raise; And to him in the firmament of his pow'r give ye praise.

A pow'rful voice it is that comes out from the Lord most high; The voice of that great Lord is full of glorious majesty.
